DST
DST is the Tajima stitch format widely used across commercial embroidery. Prefer DST when exchanging designs between machines and software.
DST →PES
PES is used by Brother and Babylock home embroidery machines. Convert or preview PES without installing desktop software.
PES →PEC
PEC is Brother’s stitch block format, often embedded inside PES. Many Brother machines also accept standalone PEC files.
PEC →JEF
JEF is Janome’s embroidery format. Use StitchPeek to inspect and convert JEF designs in the browser.
JEF →EXP
EXP (Melco expanded) is common on Melco and some Bernina workflows. Preview and convert EXP files locally with StitchPeek.
